Speech & Language Pathologist - Home Health - (SLP - HH)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $39.00 - 41.50
Home healthcare company is seeking a self starting, highly motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join the team. Therapist will treat an Adults and Geriatric population seeing approximately 5-6 patients per day. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.
Speech/language pathologists work with patients who are suffering from, or are prone to, disorders related to speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. In order to address patients’ needs, the speech/language pathologist develops individualized plans that take into account the patient’s needs, progress, and eventual discharge plans. They may also work in a number of specialties, including:
Required Qualifications
-5 years of general experience, if no homecare experience
-Must have 1 year of adult based experience
-Must be willing to do a 26 week assignment if no previous home health experience.
Preferred Qualifications
-Home Health experience
