Job Description & Requirements
Cardiovascular Nurse - (Cardio - CVICU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $33.00 - 38.00

22-bed cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology critical care unit. Patient population includes cardiac and thoracic surgery, cardiology including EPS and heart failure, heart and lung transplant, and primary pulmonary hypertension.

Working in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), the cardiovascular nurse is responsible for administering care for patients following open-heart surgery. Considered to be the most highly specialized and critical intensive care unit, the CVICU is also sometimes responsible for the treatment and care of heart transplant patients.

Required Qualifications
Requires current CVICU, including open heart.
ACLS required.

During times of low census, may float up to once a week to Med/Surg ICU, ICU patients on Stem Cell Transplant unit, Close Observation unit, PACU and tele units.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous travel exp
Academic medical center experience desired.
