JOB DESCRIPTION: Local, growing company seeking an experienced Lowboy Truck Driver. The Driver will be responsible for delivering construction equipment to and from customers and will demonstrate proper machine operation to customers. The Driver will complete daily and monthly inspections of all trucks and trailers and will practice safe loading and unloading techniques. This position will also include performing repairs and maintenance on trucks, trailers and equipment. Responsibilities will also include keeping vehicles clean, professional and fully stocked with chains, binders and tools. The Driver will work early and late hours as required and may also work overtime hours.
QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates will offer the following skills set:
-Ability to operate trucks, trailers and equipment safely and efficiently
-Ability to inspect trucks, trailers and equipment and accurately record damage
-Must follow verbal and written instructions
-Knowledge of heavy equipment required
-Must be able to lift and move 50-75lbs., climb, secure loads and use hand tools
-Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with a team
-Flexible schedule and ability to work early, late or long hours
-Understand local, state and federal trucking laws
-Must have three years minimum related experience with class A-CDL
-Must successfully pass drug screen and background check
