Job Summary:

This role will report to the Director of Integration Services, and will take day to day responsibilities from the Senior Business Analyst. The position will drive software development activities through creation of software requirement artifacts, as well as participate in the collection and capture of business requirements.
The OSS group designs and implement OSS used to support NaviSite ' s service provider infrastructure, applications, and databases. These systems consist of a large number of commercial and in-house developed applications, with high-availability and high-scalability requirements.


Daily work will involve reviews and capture of business requirements with stakeholders, documentation of necessary use cases and workflows, detail of data flows and data mappings/transformation, and interact with the software development team to provide requirements clarity. This individual will also play a key role in standardizing requirements artifacts and documentation structure, as well as ensure associated documents are consistently available on our internal wiki sites.

Expectations would include past experience in a software analyst role, keen understanding of capturing and providing information relevant to the software development effort, and is capable of seeking out necessary information and developing working relationships often from a remote location. Exposure or skills in the areas of networking, systems infrastructure, and databases would be ideal.
