We have a client seeking to hire a designer with experience working in an industrial setting. The client designs large machinery. They use AutoCAD but would be open to someone with 3D experience.
-Designing industrial equipment mainly conveyor related
-Use AutoCAD for designing
-Handle layout of flat plate, reading of drawings
-Designing of structural steel material
Handling mechanical drawings for a company that builds conveyor and industrial equipment for a number of industries, including paper and pulp, municipal and coal fire plants. All drawings are done in AutoCAD. This person will be responsible for interacting with the customer from time to time to make sure drawings are correct, as all equipment is custom built.'
Qualifications:
-3 to 5+ years of experience
-Mechanical drafting and design
-Plate Work or structural steel detailing
-Conveyor design is not a must but a plus
-AutoCAD in 2D is required
-AutoCAD in 3D is not a must but a plus
