Job Description:
This company is currently in need of an Account Manager to work in their Whitehouse location. Account Managers will contribute to the company’s sales efforts and customer service, they will execute the day-to-day account activities by seeking and developing business opportunities with present customers.
-Retain existing business by assuring customer satisfaction and promoting the good will of the company
-Promote additional services and offerings to customers
-Provide on-going service and contact with existing customers to encourage new sales or business opportunities
-Provide routine and meaningful marketplace feedback and information to management
-Meet or exceed revenue quotas and forecasts
-has own book of clients, usually 1100-1200 customers, and 2300 policies per book
-Essentially, Account Managers will be responsible for handling in-coming calls from current clients and offering great customer service, as well as cross and up-selling different insurance products, obtaining leads/referrals.
Qualifications:
-Licensed to sell Property and Casualty insurance a plus
-Life and health insurance licensing a plus
-Experience in sales and/or customer service a must (preferably both)
-Good, consistent work history
-Intangibles are very important; highly motivated, outgoing, friendly, professional and goal-oriented people are what they like
-They will hire someone who has no insurance background or certs but has sales talent and can learn fast.
Work Environment:
-Small company, 3-8 people on-site
-Dress code: Business casual
-Shift: 1st; 8a-5p w/ 1-hour lunch break from 12p-1p.
Compensation:
Contract-to-Hire; once permanent, 100% paid benefits
Pay Rate: $10 to $15 depending on experience
Commission Structure:
-$6000 of new business/monthly=8% paid
-$7500 of new business/monthly=12%
-$90k over 8 months=Free weekend trip (Location-TBD)
