About this job
A company in Carol Stream is looking for a CNC machine operator. This person should be able to operate as well as perform set-ups on CNC lathe machines.
Duties:
- Operate and SET UP CNC Lathes
- Check Specs
- Load and Unload production lines
- Use Measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- 100% manual inspection of parts
- change/adjust product tooling
- Daily preventative maintenance
- Remove and dispose of chips/shavings
- Replenish fluids/lubricants in the machines
- 5S Cleaning Responsibilities
Details:
2nd or 3rd shift (will do training on 1st shift)
Pay starts at $13, will be increased to $15 or $16 once training is complete
