Supply Chain Planner

Seeking for Supply Chain Planner must have strong communication skills and experience in Project Management, Supply Planning, Scheduling, Materials management and Procurement. Proficient in SAP. Position Summary This position oversees the brown box inventory movement into repack operations to support the production of promotional packs. This includes requesting transships to reposition stock in the DC network, requesting and monitoring the timely transfer of WIP from DCs to repackers, and coordinating communication between production sites, production schedulers and category planners. The position is a focal point for the execution of Customer Development and Brand Building initiatives and is therefore a key role. Key Responsibilities *Use the repacker production schedule to position WIP within the DC network to ensure WIP availability at time of production *Coordinate the just-in-time pull of WIP from the DCs by the repackers as production begins *Work with staple pack planners to maximize case-fill for the total business in choosing how and when to pull WIP for repack production in times of low safety stock *Monitor the flow of unused pristine cases of WIP back to the DC network if stock has not been used by the repacker *Conduct focused improvement activities as needed to improve performance against key KPIs Key KPIs Case-fill shipped (for both the staple and promotional business) Case-fill On-time Inventory on hand Manufacturing Capacity Utilization Scope *Management of WIP availability for at least one key repacker and several overflow production locations *Interface with production sites, supply and promotional planners, production schedulers, and logistics operations teams *Key in delivering case-fill and inventory metrics . Skills & Competencies *Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, resolve issues, and manage many diverse projects simultaneously *Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required *Leadership: Proactive style and positive take-charge approach; strong desire for assuming increased responsibility, growth, and visibility *Team Commitment: Must have the ability to work as part of a team to achieve common objectives and to influence both peers and superiors *Resiliency: Must work quickly and accurately to make and execute decisions in a dynamic environment Key Requirements: *Undergraduate degree in Business, Logistics, Operations Planning, Engineering or related fields *APICS certification or progress towards certification preferred. *A minimum of 1-3 years experience in Planning or other Supply Chain experience *Proficiency in PC based software tools (Microsoft Office Suite), SAP and APO
