We are currently recruiting for a Director of National Accounts with OptumHealth Education that will:
-Drive growth in new business sales
-Develop relationships with Sources of Funding (SOFs) of Continuing Medical Education CME that will provide immediate new business and set the stage for a longer perpetual relationships
-Develop relationships with strategic partners that will yield immediate and recurring revenue
-Consistently meet or exceed revenue/Total Contract Value(TCV) growth goals for the account base
-Demonstrate consistent activity disciplines to maximize new business development and assure perpetual pipeline growth
-Maintain a robust, qualified new business pipeline
-Demonstrate solid leadership qualities and organizational skills in directing the efforts of the sales or project team throughout the sales cycle
-Display exceptional strategic selling skills including discovery, ROI development and presentation, sales cycle maintenance, tactical planning and closing
-Clearly demonstrate problem-solving capacity and the ability to be timely and responsive
-Be a positive force on teams
-Ensure accurate and timely entry of sales opportunity information using Rosetta

Responsibilities:
-Develop and close new business
-Maximize the penetration of all levels within SOFs and potential strategic partners
-Establish, build and maintain positive, professional relationships at all decision levels within SOFs and potential strategic partners
- Have a thorough knowledge of the operational and strategic planning methods indigenous to Pharmaceutical and Devise manufacturers and Managed Care/Payer organizations.
-Reinforce our superiority as the CME and education leader in the healthcare industry
-Demonstrate value-added solutions using a professional consultative selling approach
-Strong involvement in the account management efforts to ensure maintenance of existing business, identification of additional new business opportunity and overall account health
- Hold monthly meetings with all OHE personal dealing with assigned accounts from all areas of the Company
-Coordinate team selling activities within account base including the participation of the Product Overlays in the sales cycle
-Maintain a highly credible professional profile within the industry
-Assume responsibility and accountability for assigned sales revenue goals [LT] and net growth within accounts
-Participate in trade shows as required
-Provide field input for product enhancement and new product development
-Communicate issues, concerns and problems in a solution oriented manner
-Keep management and marketing appraised of competitive activity within your assigned region/accounts
-Provide management with timely reporting as required and requested
-Manage the sales cycle through the use of weekly team strategic account reviews to include all stakeholders
-Provide ongoing opportunities, and updates for each account in Rosetta

This position is a direct sales position for healthcare financing. This sales person will call on healthcare providers to provide solutions for financing their buisiness as well as referring other opportunities for additional Optum products and services to the Optum Sales team.

Requirements


Bachelor's degree required


Graduate degree preferred


5 years healthcare lending sales experience


10 years commercial lending experience


5 years data analytics experience
5 years experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite to include word, excel, PowerPoint.
5 years experience calling on CEO, COO, CFO, CMO level executives
Sales insurance license must be maintained as required by state law.
Must maintains a valid driver's license.
Willingness to travel as required.
