Essential Duties:
- As the CAD Technician, you will be responsible for making the final drawing packet according to the company and job specification
- The CAD Technician ensures uniformity of design standards; scaling text and proper CAD operations
- You will also be responsible for adjusting designs or implementing changes as the project manager or customer requests
- Inspect incoming parts to verify critical dimensions match component drawings, as required
- Use CAD software to perform job duties
- Additional job duties may be required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and AutoCAD design software.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Education or Experience
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have working experience in the field; which may include apprenticeship or internship
