The Group Retiree business provides medical and prescription drug plans to retirees based on the unique needs of employers/plan sponsors. The Sr. Marketing Specialist role is part of the Group Retiree marketing team responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with the overall business goals.


 


Primary Responsibilities:


Develop and implement marketing plans to support the acquitistion and retention of members


-Pre-enrollment and post-enrollment materials


-Open enrollment meeting materials and presentations


-Members comunications


Support communication initiatives to help Group Retiree plans achieve the highest possible CMS star ratings (quality indicator).


Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and Legal teams to ensure marketing materials are compliant with necessary state and federal guidelines
Work successfully with internal Marketing Services (creative and production) team


Create and maintain marketing schedules and material component spreadsheet/build of materials (BOM), if appropriate


Project manage marketing initiatives by using internal tools including the Depot and BPM

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree  desired
Marketing communication skills required
5 years of marketing experience with in a matrix organization required
Direct to Consumer marketing experience is highly desired
Healthcare marketing experience will be given preference


Experience marketing to the Medicare eligible population is an asset
Relationship and collaboration skills are a necessity
Ability to succeed in a cross functional environment
5 years experience in a deadline driven environment
5 years proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
5 years experience demonstrating organization skills.
5 years experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables
5 years experience in meeting or exceeding sales promotion/marketing targets.
5 years experience influencing and collaborating with others
Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
