Electronics Assembly Leader
A larger sized company in Northern Indiana has an immediate opening for an Electronics Assembly Leader.
Job Summary:
This individual will be in the role of an Electronics Assembly Leader for the company’s manufacturing group. They will supervise roughly ten people. The first thing done each morning when coming in will be to look at the workload for the day and the personnel on hand. While understanding the workload and personnel, the individual will be responsible for putting the right people in the right place and assign the task for the most efficient day. The individual will process customer returns- this will only be once he/she is familiar with the products and can properly troubleshoot them. If a product fails testing on the line, this person will need to diagnose why and troubleshoot if need be. This person could also be responsible for handing out disciplinary action if need be to the people in the group.
Job Duties:
- Supervise roughly 10 people and assign daily tasks for the according workload
- Process customer returns and properly troubleshoot the product to determine the reason for failure
- Diagnose a product on the line if it fails and troubleshoot it if need be
- Hand out disciplinary action if need be to the people in the group
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
MUST:
- Soldering skills- need to be able to train others on how to solder
- Understand a schematic- will take a schematic from an engineer and use it to troubleshoot a board or device
- General hands on skills- when problems arise with testing equipment, it would be beneficial if this person could fix the problem
PLUS:
- Any certifications
- Skills and knowledge on how computers communicate through ports.
Standard work week is M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. Overtime is expected, but all overtime is paid 1.5x. Benefits offered.
