About this job
Automotive Company in Cypress, CA has an immediate need for a Procurement Specialist. Candidate for this position will be responsible for keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments, analyzing and coordinating production and logistical functions, controlling and reconciling inventory, and reviewing and processing freight claims.
Duties
-Responsible for creating and communicating purchase plans to factories based on sales forecasts and inventory guidelines's
-Lead initiatives such as excess inventory control and cross-shipment reduction through in-depth inventory analyses
-Develop and enhance partnership with Japan headquarters
-Support sales forecasts analyses as required
-Supervise Claims Administrator and Procurement Administrative Assistant
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-Minimum to 3 years in Purchasing, Procurement or Inventory Control
-Bilingual fluency (read, write, and speak) Japanese and English
-Proficient with (Pivot Tables, Formulas)
-Bachelor's Degree
