The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Business Analyst for our TSG-Business Services Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
Excellent written/oral communication and listening skills; excellent presentation skills; comfortable communicating with all levels of personnel including senior management. Demonstrates all traditional BA skills in a proficient manner including requirements gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, project planning/tracking, use/test case development and solution document generation. The ability to work closely with business constituents and other members of TSG to identify and implement IT solutions. Strong capability with Microsoft Office suite including Visio. Ability to analyze vague project requests and clarify into specific tasks, next steps and deliverables. Strong project management capabilities. Understanding of database structure/tables.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified candidates will have experience eliciting, defining, writing and managing business specifications, technical specifications, and other project documentation for application development. Qualified candidates will have experience troubleshooting issues using various business analysis techniques.
- Must possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to gather comprehensive requirements and deliver results expediently; Ability to take abstract business issues and using business analysis techniques, determine the root cause and possible solutions; Knowledge of data modeling and entity-relationships; Ability to apply multiple technologies to business problems.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, a " quick-study " , and be adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment; Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical persons, both verbally and in writing; High degree of professionalism, using an interpersonal communication style that promotes progress through teamwork in a collaborative manner; Must be comfortable working with minimal direction; Must pay attention to detail and have a sense of urgency in completing multiple assignments within aggressive timelines.
- 1+ years Salesforce experience.
- Must be able to learn and effectively use the Salesforce Data Loader, Salesforce native reporting and dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- General administrative experience with a cloud based application.
- Reporting experience with a cloud-based application.
- General database knowledge.
- Bachelor ' s Degree in MIS (Management Information Systems), IS (Information Services), IT (Information Technology), S&IS (Software and Information Systems), CIS (Computer Information Systems), CS (Computer Science) or any Engineering discipline.
- SalesForce Administrator Certification
Education and Experience:
Bachelor ' s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
