Project Manager/HVAC Technician

Our local client is looking various positions from general labor to project managers for an upcoming project.

About the role:
This is an opportunity to join a leader in design-build mechanical construction as they add a senior member to their team. The Harrisburg construction economy is robust, among the busiest in the country, and has a long range horizon. As a mainstay of the large project environment in the Northeast, they are on the short list for every high profile project that gets built in the area and they need to add a project executive to lead multi-million dollar project teams today and be groomed for additional leadership in the future. They work primarily on collaborative design/build and negotiated contracts with cutting edge integrated project delivery methods and technology. This creates a keen focus on the abundance created through innovation and collaboration rather than the volatility of the commoditized and adversarial plan/spec project world.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
8-12+ years of project management career progression in HVAC/Mechanical Construction.
3+ years at a Sr. PM level leading other PM's on large projects as PM of record.
Profitable project history in Large Commercial, Healthcare, Institutional, Hi-Rise, Hi-Tech, Data Center or similar market types.
Strong technical foundation in HVAC including a field level understanding of how systems are constructed.
Risk Management - mastery of project financial tools, project management methods and technology (software) to anticipate and solve problems before they happen.
Job Pricing - someone that understands the direct labor and material costs to get things built in the real world.
Leadership - Proactive vision to create a sum greater than its parts.
Communication polish - internally and externally at all levels of the food chain.
Team player - Need to be a great collaborator.
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Business or related discipline (or equivalent work experience - field experience is highly valued)
