Pitney Bowes Software is currently seeking a Senior QA Software Engineer to be a member of our Product and Solutions Development team. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, leading our continued growth. This position will be located in our Boulder, Colorado office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design and development in an agile software development environment.
Serve as a technical contributor; participate in, and contribute to the analysis of project requirements, design, and estimation of project components, implementation of these components, and debugging, re-factoring and maintenance of project components.
Assume responsibility for acquiring knowledge of the technologies and applications necessary to complete the assigned tasks.
Participate actively in design discussions, bringing his/her perspective to product design.
Design and build quality in the software via unit tests, test plans and test-driven development.
Conform to company standards while writing code, documentation and project artifacts.
OS: Unix (HPUX, Solaris, AIX, Various Linux), Windows Desktop & Server.
Languages: Java, Ant, Makefile, C/C++, C#, Perl, Shell & Batch scripting.

Qualification
Qualifications
MUST have knowledge of C/C++ & Java
MUST have experience with threading, database and socket programming.
Must have database experience (sql server)
Nice to have knowledge of Hibernate, GWT (Google web toolkit), JSP
Others are good to know.
General Knowledge:
Understanding of differences between unix, linux & windows
Must have knowledge of how different languages interact with systems, memory, cpu etc.
Must be able to write API tests
Must have Test system architecture
Experience creating large automation test systems
Database/Data driven testing
Distributed system testing
Must have Multi platform test experience Unix/Windows 32 & 64bit, CISC vs RISC. Big & little Endian etc.
Must have knowledge of networking protocols.
Knowledge of NFS, Raid, Database Administration, System Administration, Continuous test integration
