PrideStaff Financial, a specialized Accounting and Financial Staffing firm, is seeking a General Ledger Accountant for a healthcare client in the Central Valley. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and pay is $25.00/hour DOE.

General Ledger Accountant – G/L Accountant – Healthcare Industry

Job Description:

As the General Ledger Accountant you will be working directly with the Controller and Accounting Department. As the General Ledger Accountant you will be tasked with the following but no limited to:

Monitoring cash accountants

Reconciliation to general ledger on a daily basis

Prepare complex bank statements reconciliation

Review general ledge accounts

Prepare monthly account maintenance summaries

Prepare monthly financial statements

Year-end audit

Other various accounting projects

General Ledger Accountant – G/L Accountant – Healthcare Industry

Job Qualifications:

4+ year degree in Accounting/Finance Industry

Experience in healthcare setting is a plus

Advanced knowledge in Excel

Practical experience is a MUST

2+ year’s auditing experience
