Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse - (NICU RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D/N Pay Rate: $35.00 - 37.00
The facility is looking for a special individual who will be responsible for working primarily in the NICU. Responsible for the delivery of patient care that promotes safety and well-being of all infants in the Maternal Child Division on a 24 hour basis. This person will also be responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for the neonatal / newborn population based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Please apply now!
The role of the neonatal intensive care nurse (NICU nurse) is to provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy. Working in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals, the NICU RNs assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.
Required Qualifications
Prevous travel experience (no exceptions)
IA or COMPACT LIC
NRP, BLS
BSN
1 Year of current Level III NICU Experience
