StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D, 12 N Pay Rate: $44.00 - 49.00

This postpartum unit of this hospital requires experience in Postpartum with Stable antepartums and Post Cesarean Sections.

Postpartum nurses are responsible for caring for both moms and their newborns after delivery. The postpartum care nurse plays a crucial role in the hours following delivery, monitoring mothers and helping to ensure proper recovery. Postpartum RNs must recognize postpartum depression and teach new moms how to address emotions, while also acting as a teacher for the new parents and usually giving instructions on how to care, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor his or her health.
Required Qualifications
BLS, NRP certifications
Experience in Postpartum with Stable antepartums and
Post Cesarean Sections
Preferred Qualifications
