Position Description:

Candidates in this position will be managing and supervising the daily activities of the drivers within the area.  The drivers are for mobile offices and marketing vehicles for the Community and State lines of business.  Candidates will be coordinating schedules of the drivers as well as working with the vendor on maintenance issues of the vehicles. 

Candidates will be keeping track of registration and renewal of these vehicles. This is a management position and the candidate will have 8 direct reports (the drivers of the vehicles).  Within the management role candidates will be handling schedules as well as any HR issues.  This is a telecommute position but there will be travel around to different sites (about 75% of the time).  There is a standard 8-5 schedule but candidates might have to work overtime.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Must be able to travel 75% of the time in the New York Area.
  • 1+ year of experience overseeing fleet operations.
  • Valid and clean driver's license in New York and dependable, insured vehicle required.
  • Ability to utilize MS Word to create correspondence and work within templates.
  • Ability to utilize MS Excel to perform data entry, work within tables, and sort/filter.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
