Time Warner Cable Pacific West Region currently seeks a Market Development Analyst for our Commercial Services Department. Below is a description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Market Development Area Manager and the development efforts within the Pacific West Region to expand the serviceable footprint of the network in support of business growth. The Market Development Analyst provides primarily database manipulation, analytical and reporting support.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Support the Area Manager and all Sales teams by analyzing all requests for serviceability.

Support the Area Manager and all Sales teams by assisting with financial approval of all new commercial build projects.

Work with company databases to identify potential new build opportunities.
-
Analyze large amounts of data - market data, plant and infrastructure data, financial data to assist in identifying and prioritizing new construction build for the primary purpose of expanding the companies serviceable footprint.

Enhance analysis and reporting of network expansion in support of sales.
-
Track and report on new build construction activity.
-
Coordinate with counterparts across Market/Region/Company to innovate and share best practices of target markets.

Utilize Salesforce.com to share updates with Sales and Construction.

Demonstrate excellence, integrity, teamwork, innovation, community, and inclusion to every customer (internal and external) to clarify the values of our business and differentiate TWCBC in the market place.

Ability to create and produce exception reporting tools.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Knowledge of general sales and marketing principles.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to consolidate data from several sources to develop final data sets for analysis.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor ' s degree.

Knowledge of construction in a cable plant environment preferred.

4+ years previous experience in a telecommunications technical field preferred.

4+ years previous experience in telecommunications construction, design, planning, or physical plant documentation preferred.

Must be familiar with business software applications, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.

Familiarity with Salesforce.com, Bentley.com/BentleyView, GoogleEarth/Pro, and MapInfo. Familiarity with databases such as Access and SQL is a plus.

Attention to detail is a must.

Must be able to multitask and work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.

The physical demands described here are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
