Whelan’s Event Services Division provides a full array of event staffing and crowd management services to the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis. Now is your opportunity to join our world-class team and one of the premier event services providers in the country!
Qualifications
Founded in 1859, the Garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden in continuous operation and a National Historic Landmark. The ideal candidate for this site will be able to provide customer service to the highest of standards – capable of representing Whelan as the premier provider of event services in the industry. A variety of exciting positions at this site are available!
A successful Security Officer candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
- Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- Demonstrate a stable work history
- Pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessment, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)
We are looking for intelligent, courteous individuals with a friendly attitude, professional demeanor, great customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
