Aerotek CE is seeking a Document Control Specialist for a growing company in Portland, OR. This is an 18 month contract.
Responsibilities:
-Build and maintain the Engineering/Sales Compatibility Data Base.
-Construct new and revised Compatibility rules as required.
-Analyze the Truck Sales Order backlog for new/revised Compatibility rule impact; consult with -Sales Engineering regarding implementation.
-Analyze all Compatibility Exemption Requests from Customer Application Engineering. Processing for Engineering response and for Compatibility Data Base impact.
-Consult with Engineering and Customer Application Engineering as required for Compatibility Data Base updates.
-Review and analyze all new and revised sales data codes for their impact on the Compatibility -Data Base integrity and accuracy.
-Consult with Marketing Information and Manufacturing Change Over regarding Data Book/SpecPro and Engineering changeover revisions/additions to Compatibility Data Base.
-Provide advice to Sales Coordinators/Order Processors on rule interpretation.
Basic Qualifications:
Applicant must be analytical and detail oriented with a passion for accuracy.
Bachelor’s Degree Required. An Associate’s Degree will be considered.
Truck product knowledge preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Ability to visualize multiple alternatives for supporting projects desired.
Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
Ability to work independently.
