About this job
This is a prototype machine shop that is looking for machinists that are interested in a 2nd or 3rd shift. The candidates responsibilities would include:
-Assist cnc lathe machinists with set up and operation of Haas Lathes
-Select proper tooling needed to run accurate parts per blueprint specifications
-Supervise 6-10 machinists and suggest more efficient tooling paths as needed
-Program and edit programs on the cnc as required
-Set up and run cnc lathes as needed when not programming
-Guide and mentor cnc set up machinists
