Responsibilities:
Assist with the running of high speed equipment, such as bottle rinsers, beer flow equipment, packers, and labelers. Perform general preventative maintenance and housekeeping with and around equipment. Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
Brewing/Fermenting/Aging – 4x4 Rotating schedule, Days/Nights every 2 weeks, 6am-6pm, $12/hr
Qualifications:
Familiarity with production processes in a food plant is preferred. The candidate must understand flow dynamics in a closed system under CO2 pressure. Must be able to learn quality testing and be computer literate. Must be able to learn process control systems, both manual and automatic. Must be a self-starter. Must be in top physical condition to lift 50 lbs and go up and down stairs continuously. Requires an interview and visit to the facility to understand job requirements and the production environment. Must be able to lift 50lbs continuous.

Perform testing for alcohol, CO2 content and purity, dissolved oxygen during processing and loading of high gravity beer into railroad tank cars. Gather rinse water samples for microbiological testing. Perform chemical titrations. Enter production and quality data into various computer applications. Learn to monitor and operate the Bailey control system. Regularly lift over 50 lbs. when opening/closing tank car hatch doors and pulling/packing plate filters. Remove/replace filter gaskets, general clean up duties, rinsing foam chambers, pulling and sweeping Kilns, strip and clean filter presses, operate high pressure cleaning system, moping and cleaning of equipment.
