JOB PURPOSE: To ensure timely, efficient, accurate and quality operations and performance to enable Restaurant Managers to be present in key areas during peak business hours. Responsible for final presentation of food to all Guests, as well as, act as an ambassador for PizzaRev.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide warm welcome to incoming guests while ensuring timely seating
  • Follow proper phone etiquette and answer the phones according to PizzaRev procedures
  • Bus tables, deliver food to guests, follow FIFO guidelines, and complete other daily tasks
  • Respond to and resolve Guest complaints/concerns
  • Make genuine connections/engage our Guests to ensure a personalized dining experience
  • Take payments/manage cash drawer
  • Apply menu knowledge to make genuine suggestions to Guests
  • Correctly enter takeout and all orders into Point Of Sale system
  • Manage takeout and online orders, check for accuracy
  • Maintain clean and orderly POS area
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Lobby area
  • Bus tables and ensure marketing materials and menus are positioned appropriately
  • Thank Guests as the leave and solicit feedback about the quality of service and experience; invite Guests to return to PizzaRev in the future
  • Sets up, maintains, and closes the line.
  • Monitors equipment.
  • Follows recipe accurately and maintains preparation processes as documented by the Management Team.
  • Conducts prep and portioning according to Management requirements. Takes initiative to do additional portioning, as needed, during down time throughout shift.
  • Tracks all waste using the Waste Tracker.
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as: Stand Mixer, Dough Divider and Oven.
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
  • Inspects all products for adherence to specs, quality indicators, proper build, and presentation.
  • Compares products to ensure special requests have been filled.
  • Monitors proper food quality by checking temperature of products, following up and ensuring all Crew Members follow the correct procedure when internal temperature standards have not been met prior to serving to Guests.
  • Monitors product holding times, follows up and informs BOH when products have been held beyond their max hold time.
  • Responds to on-the-fly/priority orders by following the proper procedure.
  • Coaches fellow Crew Members on food safety standards, including washing hands frequently, use of vinyl gloves, changing out sanitizer buckets, testing sanitizer water regularly, product quality, and service quality. Brings performance issues to management as needed.
  • Communicates with Managers and other Crew Members effectively, staying calm and in control during stressful situations.
  • Ensures all sanitation procedures are in place every shift per PizzaRev and local Health Department standards.
  • Check Guest identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
  • Serve food and/or beverages to Guests to ensure an exceptional dining experience
  • Other duties as assigned by Management Team

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Minimum of 16 years old
  • Certifications to serve alcohol as dictated by the State and PizzaRev policy

Preferred

  • ServSafe Food Certification.
  • Prior experience in restaurant or customer service role
