Impact

As a Senior Analyst - Finance Applications you will work with the team to support the Global Finance operations, specifically on the Accounts Payable and Treasury Management areas. This helps our internal clients run an world class Treasury and Accounts Payable functions, making the best use of the information available and the supporting technologies, translating operational excellence into top class service levels for our clients and partners. This position is located in Shelton, CT with clients located in the Fairfield County and international locations.

The Job
  • Lead the design, deployment and support for the Treasury and Accounts Payable processes in the context of our transformation program and shared services model, using the SAP platform as the core solution set.
  • Work with onsite and offshore teams to ensure that project timelines, milestones and KPIs are reached and that production issues are fixed as per support SLAs, acting as the liaison between business and implementation, development and support teams to prioritize needs and requests.
  • Gather requirements from business users for projects and enhancement initiatives, preparing the required functional specifications, ensuring that functional requirements are translated into technical solutions that are scalable and flexible.
  • Provide IT project leadership for transformational finance initiatives and integrations, building relationships and interact with external vendors (banks, consulting firms, software vendors, etc.) as and when required to deliver business solutions.
  • Act as the key point of contact between the business users and TechCentral, engaging with other SAP and Non-SAP teams (BI, Middleware, Infrastructure, etc.) providing a single point of contact to the business partners and providing insight to technical solutions.

Qualification

Education
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems is preferred; advanced degree MS/MBA and technical certification in SAP is a plus.


Experience/Certifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP Finance (Accounts Payable) and Treasury (Core Treasury, Cash Management, Treasury and Risk Management, In-house banking)
  • Full SDLC experience
  • Candidate must either be a citizen, have a valid green card, or current H1B visa. PB is not in the position to legally sponsor any candidate at this time.


Technical Skills
  • Experience integrating SAP with commonly used bolt-on/add-on technologies (OB10, B2B, Sungard, SWIFT, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience handling onsite/offshore production support teams is desirable.
  • Very Strong knowledge of processes across the entire Financial Managements flow and its relations to SAP functionality and modules is a must, including but not limited to: G/L, Accounts Payable, Materials Management/Invoice Verification, B2B, Project Systems, and Investment Management
  • Knowledge of best practices in different industries (e.g. Software, Professional Services and Manufacturing) and the use of SAP as a best practice enabler is a plus
  • Must have a proven track record in full lifecycle engagements, from business case preparation to requirements gathering, blueprint, building, testing and implementation of solutions based on business requirements and using industry recognized methodologies
  • Integration knowledge of Finance with Sales and Logistic areas is desired
    Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills that enable the candidate to work independently with business and IT partners throughout the organization and during the engagement lifecycle are required
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast moving environment, demonstrated agility and ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Must be able to relate to all levels of the user community and translate technical language into business language appropriately
  • Must be a self-starter and a team player that motivates and educates other team members, inspiring behavioral change of team members and business counterparts as per PB vision
