Job Title: Certified Medical Staff Coordinator
Job Summary
Prepares agendas, minutes, and follow up action items for the medical staff. Provides support to the medical staff departments and committees as assigned which at a minimum includes research and confidential reports. Acts as an intermediary for Director.
Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM), or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) required.
b. Minimum Experience Requirement :
Minimum two years experience in medical staff support is required. Medical Terminology, ability to use computer for record keeping, correspondence, etc. required. Knowledge of Word preferred. Ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of hospital and medical staff. Excellent customer service skills required.
c. Minimum License Requirement :
California Drivers License Required.
