Employees in this function draw and collect blood samples, perform manual and
automated routine blood tests, and operate lab equipment. Phlebotomists  require certification by a nationally recognized organization.
Screening Clinicians requires graduation from an Accredited program and
passing a National exam by the Board of Registry of the American Society
for Clinical Pathology.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the on-site screening.
  • Ensure clear and effective client communication and expectations with on-site event representative.
  • Work with Staffing Coordinator and/or Account Manager(s) to ensure smooth on-site events.
  • Confirm Field Staff schedule prior to each on-site event.
  • Serve as Manager for all staff at on-site events; includes coaching, performance assessment, and conflict resolution.
  • Provide on-site Training guidance for new team members.
  • Pickup and quality inspection of correct supplies for each on-site event.
  • Ensure all paperwork with and without PHI is effectively tracked and managed. 
  • Ensure all specimen is handled and transported correctly.
  • Maintain company-issued laptop and all event-required IT equipment.
  • Organize/establish room set-up and clean-up at on-site events.
  • Direct staff in appropriate job assignments.
  • Direct and oversee participant flow throughout events.
  • Communicate program specifics to field team members.
  • Confirm and communicate site-specific emergency protocol; oversee emergency situations.
  • Act as preceptor for new Team Lead trainees .
  • Out-of-state travel/additional job requirements:
    • Approve packing of all on-site event supplies;
    • Coordinate transportation and shipping of all event supplies, paperwork, and specimens;
    • Collect travel receipts.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Familiarity with State and Federal Healthcare compliance.
  • Ability to work a Per Diem schedule, with no guaranteed schedule or hours; Very early morning hours possible.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Medical field, such as Nursing, Phlebotomy, EMT, etc..
  • Ability to work on a computer, including light Data Entry.
  • Must be able to travel 30% of the time.
  • Must have a personal computer at home for time cards and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited
    Medical Certificate program (i.e., current LPN, RN, Phlebotomist, Health Educator, Fitness licensure), or a Bachelor's Degree in a Health-related field is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience managing small groups or events is preferred.
