Position Summary



The Finance Director is responsible for various financial functions including business analytics, annual planning and quarterly forecasting, metrics reporting and ad-hoc analysis.


 


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Perform intersegment financial planning and analysis including budgets and forecasts

  • Partner with Operating Cost team to provide variance analysis and explanations of change

  • Strong understanding of major services purchased by segment

  • Work closely with business owners and other United segments to ensure the proper dollar amounts are being forecasted

  • Provide oversight and guidance to the contract and term sheet process

  • Provide oversight to the monthly validation of charges provided from other segments

  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement

  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree 


-7+ years progressive financial planning and analysis experience


-5+ years forecasting and planning experience


-3+ years of leadership experience required
-Strong analytical background and attention to details
-Excellent communication and organization skills
-Advanced level of proficiency with Excel
-Enterprise financial systems experience such as PeopleSoft/Oracle


 


Preferred Qualifications:


-Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Finance or Accounting


-Intersegment process experience
