About This Opportunity

Have a direct impact on real estate, design, construction, maintenance and support operations of stores, Distribution Centers or headquarters locations.

Monitors alarm center signal and communications traffic and dispatches emergency services or initiates other actions as needed. Provides support to DHC location in the management of fire and burglary alarm service, issues and problem resolution and routine or emergency communications. Interfaces with police/fire officials, contractors, Assets Protection, Building Services, Risk Management and other DHC Teams. Completes alarm center/communications center database gathering, data entry, and creates and distributes alarm center reports, and some secretarial functions.

  • Monitoring alarm signal traffic and dispatching emergency services as needed
  • Initiating required action to location executives and emergency police and fire services and escalating major issues
  • Providing communications center services, including Alert One emergency reporting, Building Services after hours dispatching, Silent Witness and National paging services
  • Creating work requests for all preventative maintenance and problems requiring repairs and providing communications to appropriate parties
  • Performing routine data entry functions in various DHACC systems
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Able to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong PC Computer skills
  • Initiative, detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills including patience and diplomacy
