Interventional Radiology Nurse - (IR RN - VIR RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $39.00 - 43.00
This position presents an opportunity to join an elite team of passionate physicians and nurses within the IR unit.
Interventional radiology nurses (IR RNs) are responsible for monitoring patients during radiology treatments and ensuring the patient’s comfort while educating them on invasive radiology procedures. The IR RN also assists radiologists during procedures. Unique to the IR RN’s duties is conscious sedation, in which the nurse, working under a physician’s direction and supervision, administers sedation and analgesics to the patient to achieve a mildly depressed state of consciousness.
Required Qualifications
IR RN
Minimum 3 yrs exp
ACLS, BLS,
CA LIC
