About this job
Candidates will be performing the final testing of all equipment on a locomotive prior to being shipped to the customer.
The Test Engineers will be testing all components including:
-The engine
-Electrical equipment
-Gauges, lights, etc (every mechanical and electrical component on the locomotive).
MUST:
-Test Engineers test the equipment outside so candidates must be comfortable with the hot and cold weather.
-Candidates must have some type of 2 year post high school degree.
-Must have at least 2 years experience performing testing and troubleshooting on electrical equipment (commercial electricians or maintenance technician troubleshooting manufacturing equipment).
