A large banking institution has an immediate opening for an Accounting Specialist located in the Providence, RI.
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be expected to use your strong analytical and problem solving skills in order to understand and balance both general ledger and Demand Deposit Account (DDA), prepare balance sheet reconciliation and clear exception items. You will work on various Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and key data into an automated system and verify accuracy.
In order to be successful in this position, you will receive training, coaching and support from facilitators and managers who are very knowledgeable of the business. A college degree, preferably in accounting is required or 2-5 years reconciliation or accounting experience. Also required: Strong Excel and Communication Skills.
