Are you an experienced quality assurance manager seeking a new opportunity? Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan has an immediate direct hire opening with our client in Manchester, MI. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating the quality assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products. The quality assurance manager will also perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to: * Analyzing, evaluating, and presenting information concerning business factors such as production capabilities, manufacturing problems, economic trends, and designing and developing new products. * Suggesting and analyzing alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing market opportunities. * Working with management in formulating and establishing policies, procedures, and goals. * Developing modifications to define areas of responsibility, requirements, and operational procedures. * Evaluating content of reports and conferring with management preparatory to formulating fiscal budget. * Conducting management meetings to establish, outline, and review organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. * Reviewing technical problems and recommending solutions to problems or change in processes. * Meeting with material/component vendors to obtain information related to supply quality, capacity of vendor to meet orders, and vendor quality standards. * Conferring with engineers about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured products on market to rectify problems. * Reviewing technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay current of technical developments within the industry. * Developing training program and assisting in the certification of new employees. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree; one (1) to two (2) years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Excellent language and communication skills - reading, analyzing, and interpreting information; writing articles and speeches; responding to inquiries and complaints; and presenting data. * Strong mathematical skills including probability and statistics; geometry and trigonometry; as well as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions. * Effective reasoning ability - defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing conclusions.
