Financial Application Specialist Do you have excellent Microsoft Office and computer skills? Are you a motivated self-starter with a positive, professional demeanor? Do you have superior attention to detail and organization skills? We are seeking a Financial Application Specialist in Bangor! Your day will be spent evaluating patient financial applications and determining eligibility, investigating potential 3rd party payment sources, screening for government program eligibility, and arranging patient interviews. An important part of your position will be following established protocols and adhering to standards. Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong decision making skills and the ability to work independently. Any prior experience in healthcare billing, providing customer service in a healthcare setting, or a familiarity with CPT or ICD coding systems or medical terminology is a plus! This position requires at least a High School Diploma/GED and skills in typing, Microsoft Excel, time management, problem solving, and customer service.
