Injection Molding Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Maintain manufacturing injection molding equipment/machinery and facility systems in operating order. Injection molding machines include a combination of electric, hydraulic, and hybrid machines. Help maximize equipment efficiency. Key responsibilities for the position, listed in priority order. This is not intended to be a comprehensive listing of job tasks, but a high level description of essential job duties. *Preventive and predictive maintenance *Problem diagnosis *Repair/replacement *Provide suggestions for long-term machine use/efficiency Essential skills that define the position: specific, practical, industry, professional, etc. Applied discipline or knowledge of the following: *Electronics *Mechanical *Hydraulics, pneumatics *Machining *Reading blueprints/schematics Essential transferable skills or competencies used to apply technical skills and accomplish position purpose: *Diagnostic problem solving *Detail orientation *Managing internal and external relationships Minimum Experience/Education/Certification Requirements: *Business/technical degree or equivalent experience *Five years mechanic experience Performance Measures (Accountability) *Timeliness / responsiveness *Mean time between breakdown *Scheduled mechanical downtime/unscheduled mechanical downtime *Productivity *Safety (Key performance measures that remain relatively constant over time. Annual performance measures, priorities/weightings, and specific targets will be agreed to and documented separately each performance period.) Salary is negotiable based on experience.
