JOB PURPOSE: The warehouse worker will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: *Pulling filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pickup *Maintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time *Accuracy and attention to detail. *Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order *Comfortable in fast-paced environment *Team player who works productively with wide range of people *Receptive work bending/stooping/lifting *Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 25 lbs.) *Stand/walk for duration of work hours. *Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures. *Sense of urgency *Follows direction/instructions *Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisor. *Reliable (attendance) *Medical conditions which may prevent them from meeting requirements of position *Nonskid close toes shoes and appropriate work attire (T-shirt and jeans) per LMI policy. *Reliable transportation. *Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities *Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills *Able to multi task, strong problem-solving and analytical ability ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *Able to work independently with some direction. *Recognizes and understand product numbers and alpha/numeric codes *Understands basic inventory, and stocking procedures. *Able to perform simple math operations (additional, subtraction, multiplication, and division). *Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order. *Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person. *Communicate positively with supervisors, and fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-ups. *Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently. *Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace. *Present a neat and professional image. *Assist in keeping facility secure. *Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies an required. *Use of RF scanner. *Process returns accurately. *Operates forklifts in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) . QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Competencies and Education *Minimum 3 months experience in manufacturing. Production, warehouse environment *Forklift Experience a plus *Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
