Chemist/Scientist - Microbiologist Do you like working in a scientific environment? Do you enjoy being a part of purposeful work? Position responsibilities include: performing Microbiology testing of raw materials, in-process bulks, finished products, water systems and environmental monitoring for compliance with quality requirements. Providing disposition of raw materials, bulks, and finished products. Complying with policies, procedures, and quality standards as well as safety and environmental regulation. Performing microbiological testing to support operations, equipment cleaning, sanitizing procedures, and process validations. Implementing systems and conduct training to assure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology required. 2. Minimal of 2 to 3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry. 3. Ability to work on problems of moderate scope where analysis requires in-depth evaluation of factors. 4. Easily exercise judgment within generally defined practices. 5. Act independently on routine tasks and under general supervision on new assignments. 6. Demonstrate potential for technical proficiency and scientific creativity.
