Manpower is currently assisting a local client in their search for an experienced Patient Account Representative in Hagerstown, MD. This position is a long term temporary position. It is currently set to last through September 30th, 2014.
Responsibilities for the Patient Account Representative include but are not limited to the following:
Must have strong insurance and medical terminology knowledge. Must have medical collections experience. Must have knowledge of CPT codes, ICD9 codes, modifiers, in addition to payer rules. 2+ recent years of experience working in healthcare patient accounting billing and medical collections. Working knowledge of Allscripts is a plus. The hours are 5 days a week, 40 hours per week, 8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30a - 5:00pm.
