Quality Tech - Full-time / Part-time

Manpower in Taylor, MI. is currently recruiting for experienced Quality Tech for one of their top clients in Novi, MI. This position is temporary, with a permanent opportunity available for the right candidate. Hours are Monday-Friday ; 2nd shift, though occasional overtime and weekend are required as needed. Pay is $12.00 hourly. Quality Tech Job responsibility The quality tech will be preforming on the floor inspection of extruded parts using calipers and rulers. On the floor inspections of injected molded parts. Audits for packaging and labels of finished product. Lab testing and inspection per the internal requirements. Other inspection as needed to support the ongoing production within the facility. Enter data into excel formatted documents. Follow all safety and internal corporate standards as required. Job requirements *Knowledge of injections molding *Knowledge of standard inspection processes and audits *Knowledge of hand held measuring devices (Calipers & Rulers) *Knowledge of computers to enter inspection data into excel data sheets *All other duties as assigned Other This person will be working independently, with little supervision at times. They will need to adjust their schedule if need to support production as required. They will be preforming in process inspections. The objective will be if issues are found to support production so that correction are made in process. Work with production and supervisors as needed.
