Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $28.00 - 33.00
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Labor & Delivery RN used to working with high volume deliveries and fast paced environment and assist in providing excellent maternity care to expecting Mothers. They see Approximately 250-300 births per month. The right candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work in a professionally challenging, positive and innovative work environment.
Must have minimum 2 years RN experience to be considered.
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Proof of Active TX or Compact license
2. Two years of recent RN experience in L&D
Ante partum/gyn experience
3. Certifcations: BLS, ACLS, NRP, fetal monitoring, current TB, immunizations
4. PBDS- given on first day
