Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse - (Cardio - OR - CVOR RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D/E/N Pay Rate: $31.00 - 35.00
This prestigious acute care facility is seeking a passionate and energetic OR RN to join their team on the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit. Excellence is the standard for every surgical specialty here in this State of the Art Surical Department. World Class surgeons,highly skilled surgical nurses, anesthesiologists, support staff, and state-of-the-art surgical facilities, help provide the highest-level, patient-centered surgical care available. This position presents a great opportunity for a strong CVOR RN to learn the latest technologies while providing excellent care within a passionate team environment.
Cardiovascular operating room nurses (CVOR RNs) work as part of Surgical Services/OR, a specialized area that treats only open-heart (cardiovascular) patients. The CVOR RN works in cardiovascular operating rooms. CVOR RNs also perform cardiovascular patient care, clinical problem solving, quality monitoring, and coordination of care for the CVOR.
Required Qualifications
MI lic (Active and in hand)
2 recent (within 1 year) travel assignments or the equivalent of 1 year experience
2 refs from Managers and above. NO Charge Nurse refs accepted
Gaps in employment must be explained
MUST have a strong background in complex cardiovascular operating room
