Cardiac Catheterization Lab Nurse - (Cath Lab RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 10 D Pay Rate: $28.00 - 33.00
This position presents an opportunity for an experienced Cathlab RN to join an elite team of passionate physicians and nurses. This will be an opportunity for you to enhance your professional experience while providing top notch patient care. To learn more about this position and opportunities available, apply now!
The role of the cardiac catheterization lab nurse (cath lab RN) is to administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by obtaining visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart, identifying blockages, assisting the physician during procedures, and monitoring the patient’s status at other times. The cath lab nurse may also help administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, pacemaker and/or defibrillator implantation, and related interventional or diagnostic procedures. Cath lab RNs must be highly specialized and work to stay abreast of the latest techniques in cardiac medicine.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Proof of Active TX or Compact license
2. Two years of RN experience in cath lab
3. Certifcations: BLS, ACLS, current TB, immunizations
4. PBDS
Preferred Qualifications
RCIS
