Job Description

HR Specialist

Supports administrative duties for the Field HR team. Collects, formats, analyzes and distributes information in an efficient and confidential manner.

Conducts Reporting to Support Stores on HR Related Issues and Metrics
  • Collect, analyze and prepare data for HR metric trends such as turnover, exit surveys, hiring and training using internal systems
  • Track and communicate HR compliance, Executive development and State/Territory/Region specific training programs and completion
  • Communicate with Store teams for resolution of issues related to completion


Provides General Administrative Support to the Field HR Team
  • Provides administrative support to Territory/Regional LP teams
  • Answers telephones, arranges travel plans, books meeting space for HR functions, prepares expense reports, photocopies and files documents
  • Gathers and compiles data for responses to State and Federal audits, EEOC Charges and HR issue resolution
  • Responsible for annual projects (ie. collecting appraisals, coordinating vacation schedules, training calendars, budgets and HR initiatives


Assist Human Resource Manager with Low Complexity Issue Resolution
  • Responds promptly, professionally and confidentially to request for information from Associates, Business Partners and external parties at the direction of the HR Manager
  • Tracks and communicates leave of absence communication
  • Routes non-HR calls/issues to the appropriate internal contact for resolution
  • Assist in communication of basic HR policies, procedures and systems for Store Administrative Assistants and Managers

Required
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Profi cient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft
  • Word, Excel, Email and Internet applications


Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service
  • Prior Vendor Management System (VMS) experience

Able to lift 25 – 60 pounds
