Security Supervisor

We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a Security Supervisor in the Kayenta, Arizona area! Now is your opportunity to join our world-class team as one of the fastest growing contract security companies in the country!

The Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with both employees and clients, ensuring that the highest quality of customer service and security personnel is present to meet and exceed the client’s financial and operational goals. This work environment is best suited for those who wish to work as part of a structured team in an active and dynamic environment. Candidates should be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Supervise the day-to-day security service provided to the facility and ensure service is of the highest standards – capable of representing Whelan as the premier provider of security services in the industry
  • Regularly inspect all posts to ensure company and client policies and procedures have been properly implemented
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff assigned to the account
  • Assist in the development and implementation of staffing schedules, budgets, payroll, and other reports
  • Ensure that operational logs, records and post orders are established and maintained appropriately.


Qualifications

Successful candidates should be 21 years of age or older, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED). Candidates must demonstrate a stable work history and pass an extensive background screening which includes, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), drug test, aptitude tests, skills assessments, interviews, past employment verification, and a personality profile (behavioral assessment).

We are looking for intelligent, courteous individuals with a friendly attitude, professional demeanor, great customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Previous contract services, hospitality, military, law enforcement or supervisory experience is preferred.
