POSITION PURPOSE - The National Pro Manager will manage tactical execution and implementation of strategies and relationships with large account customers in Pro. The National Pro Manager will act as trusted advisor and single point of contact for all elements of a National Account life cycle that can potentially reach across multiple customer locations. This position will need to develop strategic direction with a focus on account development. Have the ability to increase the pipeline of potential accounts for the Pro field teams by establishing the relationship with national customers and selling the value proposition of The Home Depot. The National Pro Manager will be the coordinator for the Pro Field teams with national account and national affiliation activities and events, trade shows, conventions, etc. The position will also be responsible for advancing focus segments of the Pro business.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
40% Lead development and follow up, to include making sales calls
30% Review account performance and recommend actions that will drive sales growth and implement and manage sales strategies
10% Roll out new national account and national affiliation programs across the country in partnership with Director Strategic Accounts 10% Relationship building and strong customer service 10% Coaching and training of Pro field associates on pro processes and customer engagement

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass Background Check.

EDUCATION REQUIRED - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
