POSITION SUMMARY
Oversees and executes quality control plans in a particular area and monitors Key Quality Characteristics during production and prepares data for review by Quality Technicians. Provides real-time feedback to operators, production team leaders, and quality technicians. Performs standard work audits to ensure compliance to standard operating procedures, quality control plans, and safety standards. Coaches and mentors production personnel when standards are not being observed. Participates in Root Cause/Corrective Action Analysis with Quality Technicians by identifying problems and collecting data.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
¿ Performs inspections, collects data and record findings per Quality Control Plans. If results are nonconforming, implements appropriate containment procedures to assure all questionable products is contained.
¿ Performs sampling and measurements on key quality characteristics using statistical sampling techniques.
¿ Aids in studies to analyze and solve manufacturing quality problems with the use of fundamental statistical methods of process analysis and control.
¿ Trains and mentors production personnel as part of a standard-work audit process and acts as first-line voice of quality.
¿ Audits production records for completeness, accuracy, and proper deployment.
¿ Uses technical procedures in performing calibrations, testing instructions, and sampling plans. Aids production personnel in understanding and interpretation of those same documents.
¿ Other duties and special projects assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Minimum of High School diploma, Associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred.
Further studies in mechanical/technical or Quality Assurance areas is preferred.
Formal training in Statistical Analysis.

Experience:
Four years in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in Quality Control/Inspection duties.
