Aerotek is currently seeking a qualified Customer Service Representative who has experience working with production control and other internal organizations to research and respond to product shipment and order inquiries from the Regional distribution centers Sales and Customers.
Qualified candidates must have customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answers inbound sales calls from customers, sales and RDCs.
- Receives and responds to customer, sales and RDC email and phone requests and inquiries.
- Researches and answers questions regarding order and product shipment dates, quantities, and status.
- Works with Production Control, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing to resolve product delivery and order fulfillment issues.
- Processes new and cancelled orders from the RDCs and Customers.
- Works with RDCs to fulfill customer orders internal to plant; but, not in distribution.
- Identifies to planning organization and expedites fulfillment of urgent orders.
- Reviews and processes Return Material Authorizations (RMA) and paperwork.
- Orders material from RSC to re-carton.
- Work with R&D and Engineering to answer Technical product questions.
- Manages Delivery Performance Key Process Indicators (KPIs).
- Uses Lawson, queries and other data bases to find and determine where products are in the manufacturing area.
- Works directly with outside customers to handle job work accounts.
- Works with RDCs to document and report shipping errors.
- Other duties and activities defined by the supervisor and manager.
