CNC Operator - Full-time

CNC Operator - Responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of CPO Science products. Set up and operate all machine shop equipment such as millers, grinders, drill presses and lathes.

• Perform routine and repetitive tasks to meet pre-established goals for production, quality & cost
• Inspect own work to conform accuracy and addressing any issues with quality or repair
• Follow guidance of written procedures
• Confirm materials necessary to perform production tasks
• Communicate ideas for improving the process and work with team to implement
• Routine machine maintenance
• Maintain reports on quantities produced
• Attend and participate in department meetings
• Support and follow all company safety policies and procedures

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of assembly techniques
• Use of hand and power tools, assembly procedures
• Excellent communication skills to interact with peers, trainer and management
• Able to make quality pass/fail decisions for product in assembly process
• Ability to lift 40 lbs or more
• Full use of hands for assembly line process
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Operate pallet jack when required
